So, erin and I are at The Buttes resort in Tempe today for the AZ Entrepreneurship conference (good work, Francine). After a busy morning of tweeting, listening, watching, talking, etc. We were hungry.
Now, when you think conference you think mystery chicken, rice pilaf, and formerly frozen veggies.Not at The Buttes. They do conference food right…
What was on the menu today? Taco buffet!!! You might say, “so what? You’re in AZ. Mexican food grows on trees.” … And you’re right. BUT at a conference this is a little different.
Warm tortillas, grilled chicken ‘n’ onions/peppers, better-than-good ground beef, fresh fixins’,and rice and beans.
Nothing super exciting but beats mystery chicken and dinner rolls and 2x on Sunday.
